THE SUBSTATION NEIGHBOURHOOD NIGHT
Wednesday 1 July, 5.30–7.00 pm
Free event – RSVP here
Join us for the fourth edition of The Substation Neighbourhood Night! The evening will feature a very special Yalukit Willam naming ceremony led by proud Boonwurrung man and The Substation Storyteller, Jaeden Williams.
Each space within The Substation will receive a Yalukit Willam name, with the meaning behind each word to be unveiled on the night. After the ceremony, join The Substation team for an exclusive (just for locals) viewing of our new exhibition A Residual Pulse by Meagan Streader along with some light refreshments.
This is a free event for Hobsons Bay locals to gather, connect and learn about what's coming up at The Substation for the rest of 2026.
Piloted across 2025, The Substation Neighbourhood Night is an opportunity for local community members to gather and receive insights into The Substation’s artistic programming. This program is a unique platform for locals to meet each other and The Substation’s core team, building local connections through arts and culture.
RSVP here to join us for this special local gathering.
