Karina Utomo is an extreme metal vocalist, multi-modal artist, and beekeeper with a 20-year practice spanning heavy music, performance and collaboration. She is co-founder of KILAT, Rinuwat, High Tension. Her projects have been presented at the Korkut Sonic Triennale (Almaty, Kazakhstan), National Gallery of Victoria, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (South Korea), Dark Mofo, Soft Centre, Download Festival and MUMA (Monash University Museum of Art).
