In 2016 The Substation kicked off with one of the biggest parties of Midsumma Festival, the Gay & Trans beauty pageant. Hosted by performance artist Tristan Meecham, Miss Gay & Miss Trans Australia Beauty Pageant stared beauties from around Australia and beyond, competing for the chance to be crowned winner in this spectacular pageant.
