Talking Hands is an exhibition of images of worker’s hands by Altona artist, Zoya Martin.

Shown on the exterior of The Substation building, this billboard exhibition features striking photographs of hands of Hobsons Bay workers from a range of industries including chefs, brewers, health practitioners, and Toyota workers.

Exploring the skills and passion of the workers, the images tell visual stories of hands that build, craft, and care. Stories of how we used to work and how we work today. Stories that capture and highlight the diversity of the many occupations in the west.
