notes from lake cudgallagong by Beth Thornber is a new outdoor exhibition at The Substation.

First Nations artist of the Wiradjuri people, Beth Thornber, employs a visual alphabet of animal, plant and human motifs to question themes of impact: historical, environmental and human impact. notes from lake cudgallagong presents Thornber’s own documentation of plants, animals and people on her phone while being on Country.

notes from lake cudgallagong is presented as part of the inaugural Hyphenated Biennial.
