Claire Edwardes is an internationally acclaimed Australian percussionist, chamber musician and artistic director of Sydney new music group, Ensemble Offspring. Described recently as a 'wonder woman of percussion' (Seesaw Magazine), Claire's 25 year career spans solo recitals, concertos with orchestra, a plethora of commissioning, curation, composition and collaborating across art form in both Australia and Europe. With her roots grounded in classical music, Claire specialises in the music of our time and is passionate about the wide dissemination of living, breathing new music to audiences of all ages.
