The Substation/ Artist/​Amy Claire Mills/

Amy Claire Mills is a visual artist, curator, and producer who resides in Sydney on Gadigal and Wangal country. In her art practice, Amy delves into themes of advocacy, identity, and resistance. She explores disability culture and its profound social and political implications, embodying both the artist and subject, her artworks serve as a form of protest, introducing new vocabularies such as softness, tactility, empathy, and care.


Since graduating with a Fine Arts Degree from UNSW, Amy has actively collaborated with various art organisations, galleries, and national institutions. Focusing on curating and producing exhibitions and events aimed at representation and embedding access.
