Fringe Fair
Saturday 2 October 10am to 4pm
The Substation celebrates Fringe with Fringe Fair – featuring their famous Artists' Market with an eclectic range of works from over 40 artists, plus a farmers market, outdoor stage, bands, food vendors and more. So head west and check out what’s on offer, and make sure to visit Fringe Furniture while you are there.
On the same day, the Seabreeze Quilters will hold a quilting extravaganza at The Substation, with exhibitions and displays from some of Melbourne’s best quilters. There will be live quilting demonstrations, and the Fringe Furniture Public Forum – hear from some of Australia's leading and emerging furniture designers, as they discuss this year’s theme.
SUB12
SUB12 is The Substation's major contemporary visual arts program and is a series of three exhibitions featuring the works of some of Melbourne’s newest and brightest visual art makers. SUB12 runs from 2 July through to 19 September, and is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council. > more details here
